The MG5320 has a glossy black design and is written in silver letters to accommodate the Canon and Pixma logos. Keep in mind that even though the Glossy exterior looks stylish, it can easily pull off fingerprints and require high maintenance. The Device is 14.5 x 17.8 x 6.6 inches in size and weighs 18 lbs.
The Device has a 48-bit flatbed scanner that can be accessed by removing the cover directly from the bottom of the top control panel. The Scanner’s optical max. 2400 x 4800 dpi resolution. Features include an auto-correction automatic scan mode, Groove Shadow correction, push-to-scan and memory scanning. The Scanner can fit up to 8.5 x 11.7 inches (wide-sized) documents.
The top control panel covers more than half of the Lid and has a 3.0-inch colour LCD with a scroll wheel for easy navigation. The Scroll wheel can also be used by pressing arrows to navigate between functions. Disk tagging, PDF file printing, advanced copy and photo options, Setup, eco settings, and other options can be found on the LCD. From Left to right, the buttons on the Control Panel are: On/off, home, back, function keys, scroll wheel, +-copies, start and stop copying black or color.
The Main paper Feeder is located on the back of the appliance and can fit in a variety of paper sizes. These sizes include 8 x 10-inch, 4 x 6, 5 x 7, legal and letter and US No. 10 envelopes. The media types it Supports are plain paper, high resolution, super bright: Photo Paper Pro Platinum, photo paper plus glossy II, normal glossy, photo paper plus semi glossy, matte photo paper and USA # 10 envelope. The Main feed tray fits up to 150 pages, the cassette is added to the additional 150 pages. The Cassette is located at the bottom of the device.
MG5320 is perfect for media compatibility. The Media card reader slots can be accessed by opening the door cover on the right front side. The First slot, SD card, SDHC, MultiMediaCard MultiMediaCard Plus, miniSD Card, miniSDHC Card, microSD Card, microSDHC Card, RS-MMC, Memory stick compatible with a range of storage devices such as MS Duo and SD/MS slot, Memory Stick PRO, Memory Sticks Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo and Memory Stick Micro. This slot has a USB flash memory and a PictBridge slot.
Under the flatbed scanner, there is a 5-ink tank system to help maintain these high-quality photo prints. The MG5320 comes with four dye-based inks, CLı-226 Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black, and also pigment-based black ink tank PGı-225.
